In order to apply for BBA Program, candidates must have either Higher Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of 65% marks or should have completed A-Levels with a minimum of 2 ‘B’s and 1 ‘C’ in three principal subjects. For all other programs, candidates must have either Higher Secondary School Certificate with a minimum of 60% marks or should have completed A-Levels with a minimum of 1 ‘B’ and 2 ‘C’s in three principal subjects. Those with an American / Canadian High School Diploma with a minimum of 80% or an International Baccalaureate (with a minimum of 25 / 45 for BBA and 24 / 45 for all other programs) are also eligible to apply for these programs.
Candidates who are from A-Levels background and are applying for BS (Computer Science), BS
(Economics and Mathematics), and BS (Mathematics), the principal subjects in A-Levels must include Mathematics.
Candidates with a Higher Secondary School Certificate must have a minimum of 60% marks (in Pre- engineering or General Group with Mathematics).
Candidates applying for BBA and BS (Accounting and Finance) and having an overall SAT score of 1270 and above with a minimum of 600 in English and 600 in Math are exempted from the entrance test. Candidates applying for BS (Economics) and BS (Social Sciences) and having an overall SAT score of 1200 and above with a minimum of 600 in English and 600 in Math are exempted from the entrance test. Candidates applying for BS (Computer Science), BS (Social Sciences), and BS (Mathematics) and having an overall score of 1270 and above with a minimum of 600 in English and 670 in Math are also exempted from the entrance test.
The entrance test comprises of following:
- Math MCQs
- English MCQs
The Aptitude Test for 1st Round is usually conducted in first week of February for BBA, BS (Accounting and Finance), BS (Social Sciences) and BS (Economics). For BS (Computer Science), BS (Economics and Maths), and BS (Mathematics), Aptitude Test for 1st Round is usually conducted in first week of March.

In order to apply for graduate programs at IBA, candidates must have a minimum of 16 years of education out of which 4 years should have been spent in an HEC recognized university or a degree awarding institute with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or a CGPA of 2.5. Moreover, a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience is mandatory for MBA Executive.
Candidates who have a minimum 600 score in GMAT or 160 in quantitative section and 150 in Verbal Section of GRE are exempted from the test.
The entrance test for MBA (Morning/Evening) and MS (Management) comprises of following:

The entrance test for MBA (Executive) comprises of following:
- Math MCQs
- English MCQs
- Case Study
Entrance Test for MBA Executive is usually held in May and November. Test for MBA (Morning/Evening) is held in May. Test for MS (Management) is held in July.
